The Nutcracker - Act 2 - Kingdom of the Sweets
The School of the Arts (SOA) at the National Museum of Dance is excited to again be performing "The Nutcracker" - Act 2 - Kingdom of the Sweets" this holiday season!
Performances will be held on Saturday, December 9 at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Maple Avenue Middle School's Trombley Auditorium. Tickets are $17 per person.
Join the Sugar Plum Fairy and a host of angels, Clara and the Prince as they celebrate their victory over the Mouse King with sweets from around the world! Dancers ranging in age from 7 to 17 will perform the classic Nutcracker roles-Coffee, Chocolate, Tea,
Marzipan, Russian and Waltz of the Flowers. Guests will even be treated to a special appearance from William Otto, from the New York City Ballet and film The Nutcracker, as Mother Ginger with her Polichinelles!
