Hillsdale Drama is proud to announce our 2017 Fall Musical, Les Misérables.
One of the greatest musicals of all time, it is based on Victor Hugo's landmark five-part novel about social change and political revolution in 19th century France. Boublil and Schonbers' musical is a powerful examination of justice, change and redemption.

Les Misérables has indisputably become one of the world's most popular musicals, having been seen by over 50 million people worldwide, in 38 countries and translated into 21 languages. From its celebrated opening in London in October 1985, this adaptation immediately captured the imagination and enthusiasm of the theatre-going public.

Les Misérables is directed by Allison Gamlen with musical direction by Matt Mattei, lighting and scenic design by Tom Stucke, and costume design by HHS alumna Audra Batter.
