Boosting Culture - Tips and Techniques to Building a Highly Motivated Workforce
When: AUGUST 23, 2017 6:30-8:30pm Where: Scrum.org Global HQ 131 Middlesex Turnpike Burlington MA
"Build projects around motivated individuals. Give them the environment and support they need, and trust them to get the job done."
Agile Principle #5 emphasizes motivated people, supportive environments and trust. These are key components in a great work culture. Studies reinforce this.
But what do you do if your company has a hiring freeze or even worse is laying-off portions of its workforce? How can you still create a mission-driven environment where motivated employees can stay motivated; or the uninspired can become inspired?
In this presentation we will review the cultural elements of effective organizations and share thoughts on identifying culture-boosting candidates during the hiring process. We'll also discuss what it takes to motivate people already on your teams. And is motivating other people including those currently unmotivated even possible?
Let's talk!
