Home for the Holidays
For the sixth year, Middleton Outreach Ministry is celebrating the holidays in vintage style, with an event not to be missed on December 8 and 9, 2012. Home for the Holidays, which raises funds for MOM, features Heartline Theatricals' performance of the live radio play, It's a Wonderful Life. This classic performance that reminds people of the importance of friends and love will be accompanied by live music. The event will take place at the beautiful state-of-the art Middleton Performing Arts Center and features a delicious hors d'oeuvre and dessert reception as well as a Holiday Store.
Produced, directed and performed by volunteers, Heartlline Theatricals' talented cast is known throughout the local and national theatre community. The event's proceeds will benefit MOM's programs that prevent homelessness in the West Madison, Middleton and Cross Plains areas.
In the past year, the need for our services has dramatically increased, making this event more important than ever. MOM, which works to prevent homelessness and end hunger in the West Madison and Middleton areas, is serving record numbers of people. The need for eviction prevention funds and utility assistance are on the rise, with allocations being fully distributed before each month's end. MOM also regularly distributes over 60,000 pounds of food per month, a dramatic increase over years past. The MOM Food Pantry is one of the largest in Dane County.
