Smartphone to Digital Microscope Workshop
In this workshop, we will be building the microscope based on an ingenious instructable! This durable microscope works with almost any smartphone. These scopes should give us 175X magnification. With this low cost, hand built microscope one can view cells of many types. Check out the HiveBio facebook page for examples of videos taken using these powerful microscopes!

You will need your own smartphone camera or tablet to put on the scope.
Feel free to bring interesting stuff to examine under your new microscope. HiveBio also has specimen to examine, as well as the ability to gather specimen on the grounds of the lab.
