Redwood Curtain
Redwood Curtain by Lanford Wilson
Its the early 1990s in the Northern California town of Arcata. Geri, a 17-year-old Vietnamese-American piano prodigy raised by wealthy adoptive parents, follows a grizzled, homeless vet into the redwood forest where he lives, convinced that he either is or can lead her to the American father who abandoned her in infancy in Saigon. Add Geris wisecracking aunt Geneva, whos struggling to save her generations-old family lumber business from a corporate takeover, and youve got the ingredients for one of playwright Lanford Wilsons loveliest and most intimate works.
