Most Agile implementations are not very effective! Ever notice that?

One of the primary reasons your Agile adoption is ineffective is this: you are pushing and imposing Agile practices on teams. This creates dis-engagement or even worse, resentment. Pushing and imposing automatically creates resistance to the change. Pushing and imposing demotivates individuals and discourages teams from self-organizing.
What can be done when well-meaning executives implement Agile by pushing and imposing it?
This session answers that question. It provides a set of solutions that can help tip your Agile adoption away from push/imposition and towards pull/invitation. Away from being weak and ineffective, and towards being strong and very effective.
NOTE: This is not a session that merely describes problems, or offers an opinion of what is "ideal." Instead this session frames the problem to be solved and then provides you with tools to solve it. This is an experiential session with group exercises....

DANIEL MEZICK is an expert on extending adaptive Agile culture beyond software. His books and workshops teach you how. Daniels first work, THE CULTURE GAME, was published in 2012 and describes 16 specific patterns that extend Agile ideas across the organization. In 2014 Daniel formulated the OpenSpace Agility method; a flexible template for enabling lasting organizational change. Daniel is also the primary author of the OPEN SPACE AGILITY HANDBOOK and his enterprise consulting practice and workshops are built upon the core concepts found in these books.
JOSEPH DEANGELIS is an Agile coach that has built or transformed management, engineering and product, scrum, and cross-functional teams into engaged, productive and happy teams within many organizations. Joseph's passion is to take groups of people who work together and cultivate them into powerfully successful teams. Joseph uses his expertise in Agile and SAFe, Scrum and Kanban, human dynamics and organizational design, Lean and Systems Thinking to teach teams to find, refine, and protect the culture, the process and the structure that best brings them success.

No audio or video recording permitted. Recording of video and/or audio is grounds for revoking your authorization to attend. You may take pictures. You are required to show up ready to have loads of FUN and engage in lots of LEARNING with lots of other very curious, fun-loving people. By purchasing a ticket and/or attending this meeting (hereafter the Event), you are explicitly authorizing us to capture pictures, video, and audio recordings of your image and voice and to use these recordings in promotion of our events.
