A 'How to Buy Pork & Lamb' Workshop
We are here to help you make the right choice in buying pork & lamb. The thought of purchasing a carcass, primals or retail cuts can be challenging, even intimidating. Join us in a discussion of methods to reduce those challenges by understanding more about carcasses, breeds, quality, available cuts and methods used in the process including the associated costs.
Learn more of what to expect in volume for freezer space as well as expand your understanding of quality, various livestock farming techniques and the age of livestock; to make well informed decisions on what to buy. This conversation is aimed toward the home food buyer though we invite conversations from all points of interest (commercial, farmer, residential, slaughterhouse, processor, etc).
Purchase tickets online or pay cash or check at the door. Cost: $15pp. Tickets online will go on sale December 3rd.
Please invite your friends and share this post, thank you! Handout materials included. Light refreshments served.
