A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.
About Kriss Marion:
Kriss Marion is an organic vegetable farmer, shepherdess, innkeeper, teacher, chef and all-around farm-to-fork enthusiast. She owns and runs Circle M Market Farm, a field-to-table dinner CSA operation, which is located in Lafayette County just 45 minutes southwest of Madison. The farm is home to hogs, steers, chickens, goats, ducks, cats, dogs and Jacob and Merino sheep which provide wool for sale and fiber art classes.
Kriss is a transplant to country life, having moved from Chicago over ten years ago. In her adopted village of Blanchardville, population 812, that makes her brand new in town. She says her neighbors, while they haven't always understood what she was up to on her little funny farm, watched with amusement at first, but gave advice so generously that the transition from city life to farming has been all joy.
CANCELLATION POLICY: NO REFUNDS. SOIL SISTERS has a no refund policy. You can, however, transfer your ticket to another person, provided that person is in possession of the ticket at the time of the workshop.
