Marigny Opera Ballet: Emerging Choreographers
The third program in the Marigny Opera Ballet's 2015/2016 Season, "Emerging Choreographers" presents new short works by four of the Company's own dancers: Trey Mauldwin, Anna Iosipiv, Kellis Oldenburg and Gretchen Erickson. The four premieres are shorter works set to live acoustic music performed by Kate Withrow, violin; Philip von Maltzahn, cello; and Brian Hsu, piano.
The chamber works accompanying the dances will be "Sonatine" by Maurice Ravel; Brahms' Cello Sonata #2 in F Major (Adagio); Common Ground by Nico Muhly; and Cafe Music By Paul Schoenfield.
