Bar Divani Slow Food Dinner - A Deliciously Diverse Edible Education Experience

What is Slow Food? Slow Food is a global, grassroots organization with supporters in 150 countries around the world who are linking the pleasure of good food with a commitment to their community and the environment. A non-profit member-supported association, Slow Food was founded in 1989 to counter the rise of fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people's dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world.

Bar Divani is pleased to partner up with Slow Food West Michigan for a great night of food and fun. We will be featuring products from the Slow Food Ark of Taste (a list of endangered heirloom & heritage foods and food traditions) as well as products from local farms. Please see the delicious menu below.

Cost is $60 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity if purchased early . A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Slow Food West Michigan.

NOTE : Seating is extremely limited. Tickets are required to be purchased in advance by May 16 - REGISTER EARLY. After May 16, ticket prices will be $70 at the door, if space is available, please call ahead (774-9463). Cash bar will be available. A Michigan Wine Tasting menu will also be available for an additional fee of $15 at the time of the actual event.

Salad
Speckled lettuce, watermelon radish, Cherokee purple tomato, key lime vinaigrette

Ceviche
Geoduck clam, mango, Meyer lemon, Serrano chili, red onion

Bison
Roasted bison tenderloin, ramps, demi-glace

Chicken
Moroccan spiced rubbed local farm raised chicken, home-made Bourbon barbecue sauce

Mushrooms
Hen of the Woods mushrooms, garlic, shallots, parsley

Melon Salad
Mixed melons, Guajillo honey
