Meet The Press 2012
March 15, 2012 Meet the Press, SMPS's annual media panel, provides a structured networking opportunity for members of the media and Marketing/PR staff from the architectural/engineering/construction industry to discuss best methods for working with reporters and editors. This year's program will explore the changing face of PR strategies and the various media channels through which these strategies are implemented. Our media experts and publishers will describe their editorial missions and how they best work with their news sources. We will also examine the concept of developing a winning hook for press coverage beyond the AEC community.
The big questions we hope to address in the media panel are:
- How can Marketing and Business Development professionals stay abreast of current editorial calendars and topics of interest for your publication? - What key elements of a submitted story or news piece are most effective for grabbing your attention? - Where do you go for your sources of information within the AEC Industry?
