SWEETPEA: "Shimmy It, Shake It, Make it BOUNCE!" - Wiggle Workout & Workshop

You've seen them in videos, on the stage, and out on the dance floor: People of all shapes, sizes, and genders astoundingly swivel, jiggle, toss and twerk their front-sides & backsides about. It's time for you to join in the fun! We'll warm up to a popular line dance or two, get a little stretch in, and then you'll learn a few foundations, isolations, and basic techniques to get your own body bouncing - for the burlesque stage or the dance floor! All levels of sassiness are welcome. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle & towel!

About the Instructor:
Sweetpea's mission is to promote and nurture the experience and expression of authentic health and joy by caring for, connecting to, and fully inhabiting our bodies...especially by revealing them.

Whether producing, performing, teaching, or training. 2014 had her headlining FIERCE! -The Queer International Burlesque Festival, founding The Vigilantease Collective to support and mentor newer artists (and put on fun, badass shows), and also experiencing a natural expansion of her event-producing talent to include non-profit galas, corporate events, wedding planning, mitzvahs, and more, through Sweet Soirée Events & Entertainment. As if it were possible, 2015 is gearing up to be even more spectacular.
