Short Stories Live: The Comic Criminal
Comedy certainly isn't a crime although these readings might assault your funny bone. In this program directed by Anita Montgomery, some of Seattle's favorite actors will read excerpts from classic comic short stories: "Ser Cepparello" and "Masetto da Lamporecchio' from The Decameron, by Giovanni Boccaccio; "The Famous Poll at Jody's Bar" by Ellen Gilchrist; James Thurber's "The Catbird Seat"; and "Stranger than Fiction" by John Mortimer. Presented by Town Hall with A Contemporary Theatre.
