FREE Hidden Harbor Tour on Miss Gateway
This is a one-way tour from Liberty State Park to Governors Island.
Explore the New York Harbor you have never seen before and can only see by boat. The New York/New Jersey Port has the highest container traffic on the east coast. In 2008, the dollar value of all cargo that moved through the port exceeded $190 billion, a new record. On this tour narrated by Richard Taylor of the Working Harbor Committee, you will be a witness to the part of our harbor that holds and fosters the economic engines that drive more than a quarter of our regional economy.
Please arrive to Liberty Landing Marina approximately 30 minutes before departure time. Tickets unclaimed 15 minutes before departure will be made available to standby passengers.
Note: This is a one-way trip. The first free ferry back to Liberty State Park will depart from Governors Island at 11:45am. The last free ferry back to Liberty State Park will depart from Governors Island at 3:45pm.
