Shaanxi Folk Art Theater
Based in the city of Xian, often referred to as the "cradle of Chinese culture," Shaanxi's traditional Chinese drumming and dancing encompasses hundreds of years of Chinese folk art and traditions. Featuring intricate, elaborate costumes and beautifully choreographed and powerful dancing influenced by martial arts, along with hand-made drums ranging in size from only a few inches to many feet in diameter, this show is a delight for both the ears and eyes. Shaanxiâs precise movements in perfect unison and incredible energy are the result of immense natural talent, years of practice, and unyielding passion.
