Antonia Juhasz: Stories Behind the Gulf Oil Spill
The BP Gulf spill is the worst oil disaster in American history, and oil-industry watchdog Antonia Juhasz says it could happen again. Juhasz, author of The Tyranny of Oil and the new Black Tide, says the spill is more than a story of ruined beaches and financial fallout: It is a human drama filled with people whose lives forever will be marked "before" and "after" the disaster. Presented by The Town Hall Center for Civic Life, with Elliott Bay Book Company. Series media sponsorship provided by PubliCola. Series supported by The Boeing Company Charitable Trust and the RealNetworks Foundation.
