Joe's Blues Farm Tour

Joe's Blues Moss Funnel Farms is smack dab in the middle of Michigan's legendary fruit belt. Approximately 8 miles from South Haven. The farm sits on a country road just outside Bangor, Michigan in Van Buren county, where nearly a third of all blueberries come from. Southwest Michigan receives moist breezes on its sandy soils from its strategic position on the lee side of Lake Michigan. Because of this wonderful accident of nature, the land has become to fruit growing what California's Sonoma county is to wine.

Sunday, August 9

10:45 - 11:00 guests arrive at farm
11:15 - 12:00 farm tour with a representative from the farm
12:00 - 1:00 lunch break (guests should bring their own brown bag lunch and beverages)
1:00 - 3:00 Farm activity (pick your own blueberries, one free pint per family and help them round up their free-range chickens)
3:00 guests depart

Space is limited so purchase your tickets in advance!

$12 per person (Co-op member)
$15 per person (non-member)
FREE for kids 17 and under
