Lafayette Police K9 Demonstration and Public Information
Officer Demello of the Lafayette Police Department will inform you on the efforts and training of these uniquely talented law enforcement dogs. By doing this, we also educate the public about the challenges faced by police officers, help you appreciate how valuable these animals are, and at the same time reassure our citizens that truly dedicated officers and innovative programs such as these are working together to successfully combat crime in our community. K9 demonstrations will include information on criminal apprehensions and narcotics detection, using a police K9.
