Come and join Theatre \verv\ for the madness and the macabre of Poe: The Conqueror Worm. This original theatrical work will take audiences on a terrifying tour of Poe's gothic tales. From the mystery of Silence: a Fable, to the intensity of The Tell-Tale Heart, all facets of Poe's writing are explored in ways never before seen. This production will appeal to literary fans as well as theatrical fans, by staying true to Poe's words, yet breathing a life into them unlike any other. Interweaving Poe's distinct poetry and prose works into a macabre gothic carnival, \verv\'s production promises to be a perfect Halloween treat.
Directed and created by Mark Gorman and JC Conway, and staring veteran Charleston actors, Dallas Corbett (Equus), David Barr (Things You Shouldn't Say Past Midnight), Sarah Coe (Dirty Blonde), Ron Johnson (Taming of the Shrew), Jelena Zerega (Blue Room), Stephen Linn (Last Days of Judas Iscariot), Carole Moore (Five Women Wearing the Same Dress).
