OTHELLO
Othello kicks off The Porters' ninth season, with Artistic Director Charles Pasternak
returning to the boards with them for the first time since his award-nominated performance
as Henry V just one year ago. Since then he has worked with The Shakespeare Center of Los
Angeles in The Merchant of Venice, The Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis in Henry IV and
Henry V, Indiana Repertory Theatre in The Two Gentlemen of Verona, and The Shakespeare
Theatre of New Jersey in Much Ado About Nothing.
Othello will star Porters' Artistic Director Charles Pasternak as Iago, with resident artists
Matt Calloway in the title role and Eliza Kiss as Desdemona. Associate Artistic Director
Thomas Bigley returns to the director's seat for the first time since his lauded King Lear in
2013.
