Valley Song
A contemporary classic of South African theater, written by Athol Fugard, Valley Song will be performed at the Electric Lodge Theatre in March. The play examines the life of young woman who embodies all the exuberant optimism of a post apartheid youth, eager for change and opportunity while her grandfather struggles to let go of the scars of the past. Their deep love for one another enables both to eventually find the courage to heal old wounds and embrace a hopeful future.
