The Cemetery Club
Three Jewish widows meet once a month for tea before going to visit their husband's graves. Ida is sweet tempered and ready to begin a new life, Lucille is a feisty embodiment of the girl who just wants to have fun. Doris is priggish and judgemental, particularly when Sam the butcher enters the scene. Sam meets the widows while visiting his wife's grave. He and Ida begin a sweet romance until Doris and Lucille persuade him to break it off with Ida. They are guilt stricken when this nearly breaks Ida's heart
Directed by Donna Wolther, this production features an ensemble cast of seasoned performers: Barbara Harvey, Cheryl Harnois, Jenney Rivard, Pat Petipas and newcomer Jonelle Lawhorn.
