THE GOOD THIEF

Conor McPherson's tough as nails Irish gangster tale tells the shocking story of a small-time thug who is sent on a mission to "scare" someone reluctant to pay the mob, and then used as a pawn in a vicious scheme. He goes on the run for his life, chased by the Garda, the Irish police, as well as hired killers. Meanwhile in tow is a woman and her young daughter, also earmarked for death.
In turn thrilling, heart-breaking and "mesmerizing" (KDHX radio), THE GOOD THIEF also enjoyed a rave from The Riverfront Times that noted its "power and brilliance."
This is an acclaimed revival of a Midnight Company production, once again performed by Joe Hanrahan and directed by Sarah Whitney.
It will be performed in repertory with McPherson's haunting vampire tale (and a revival of another Midnight Company hit, ST. NICHOLAS (tix also sale at brownpaper.)
It's presented at Herbie's Vintage 72 in St. Louis' Central West End. For dining, there are special pre and post show menus, drinks during the show, and free live music after Sunday performances.
