Raisins in a Glass of Milk brings the experiences of theater artists of color out of the darkness and into the spotlight. Hilarious, heart-breaking and shocking in turns, this out-pouring of scenes and monologues is the stuff of their real lives. Stereotypes, controversies and out-of-date statements have no place in this one-act play, which provides ample proof once again that the lives of people of color should finally be seen as a standard, essential part of storytelling.
