The Little Miss AKA pageant is the culmination of a series of cultural, educational and fundraising events for young girls ages 7 to 10 years old. This signature AKA program promotes and cultivates in the young girls etiquette, elegance, and poise. The Upsilon Alpha Omega Chapter of AKA (a service organization) also provides workshops for the talented young Metro Atlanta girls. Their months of dedicated effort will conclude with an elegant pageant held in May 2013.
Since the pageant%u2019s inception in 2006, UAO has used the program to raise funds for young men and women who have excelled scholastically and through community service. Funding for the scholarships comes from patron donations and solicitations.
