| The Naptown Roller Girls league has proved to Indianapolis and the world that roller derby isnt just a bunch of fights and flash; its the coolest sport there ever was for women, specifically for these Indianapolis women who proudly wield their wheels with speed, skill and a couple of bruises, to boot.
Who are we?
The Naptown Roller Girls, and its competing team, The Tornado Sirens, are made up of Indianapolis women who want to do one thing: SKATE. Formed in 2006, The Naptown Roller Girls are a DIY flat-track roller derby league, one of more than 100 flat- and banked-track roller derby leagues around the country. Our ladies have collected bruises, torn tendons, dislocated ankles and broken bones to bring roller derby in all its grit and glory to the Indianapolis area. |
