Santa Barbara Minute Film FestivalSanta Barbara, CA
The Santa Barbara Minute Film Festival's goal is to provide a showcase for a wide spectrum of filmmakers to exhibit very short form video and film works. We encourage both experienced and novice directors, animators, artists, designers, students, and producers to submit 60-second films and videos for inclusion in the festival.
All genres of film will be considered - documentary, animation, experimental, student work, nature, sports, trailers and so on. We are open to any kind of work, both local and international, that expresses unique spirit, style, and soul by using the film and video medium. The only guideline is the length: One Minute.
Santa Barbara Minute 2010 will screen approximately 50 films at the Faulkner Gallery, May 1st at 8pm, located at the Santa Barbara Library. Santa Barbara Minute and guest judges will recognize selected films and filmmakers at this year's festival.
Proceeds from the 2010 festival will benefit LifeChronicles, a Santa Barbara based non-profit organization that produces videos of people who are terminally ill or in any of a variety of life crises. |
