The alternative hardcore band from Poughkeepsie, NY, formed in the spring of 2012. The band started as most do; after members from a few stagnant bands in area decided to come together and start a new project that would help them breathe life into a dying scene. After self-releasing their first record in 2013, Reformation, the band developed an increasingly loyal following throughout the East Coast within just a year and decided it was time to start touring. After a few runs along the coast, it became clear that the band's hard-hitting, emotional lyricism began to resonate with fans, as MERIDIAN touched on topics like depression, self-perseverance and child-neglect. When asked what words would best describe their music, MERIDIAN bass player, Chris Titer, answered simply "Passionate and gimmick-free.. This is all we've ever known.. It's the only thing that makes sense to us."
Young Graves
Formed early 2013 the five-piece melodic hardcore band Young Graves. Comprised of members of Sons Of Katie Elder, Edenborn, Frontlines, Young Graves future looks bright, with no intentions of stopping. Their debut EP "Temper" is available now.
Tom Simmons & The Company Inc.
Comprised of songwriter Tom Simmons, and of ex members of many of the Hudson Valley's most memorbale and successful acts. Tom Simmons mixes catchy and energetic pop-punk, but also manges to incoroprate many other various styles to captivate his listeners from a wide audience.
Portraits
PORTRAITS began in early 2012, and has been ever evolving in the time since. Consistently strong willed, opinionated, and pissed at the state of humanity today, PORTRAITS wrote, recorded, and performed again and again until the release of their "RECLAIMER" EP in September of 2013. After a number of member changes, 2014 will see a rejuvenated lineup ready to spread their message.
One For The Braves
Forming in May of 2013 One For The Braves is a Pop Punk band that prides themselves on playing fast paced upbeat music that is true to who they are and the lives that they lead. The 5 piece band released their debut single entitled "Man Vs. Self back in November of 2013 and put out their debut Ep Conquer it All..,Regret Nothing in August of 2014
