Down the Rabbit Hole

Movement Continuum, Lexington's contemporary dance company, presents its fourth season performance, Down the Rabbit Hole, an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. Down the Rabbit Hole leads its audience through Alice's fall into Wonderland and all her adventures that follow as she experiences the Garden of Live Flowers, the Queen of Hearts' Croquet Court, and the White Queen's chessboard. Monologues written by local writers give our dancers their own set of lungs. Down the Rabbit Hole writers include: Bianca Spriggs, Zephir Griffin, Ayna Lorenzo, Ashley Ruderman, Leigh Anne Hornfeldt, Donna Ison, Jessi Fehrenbach, Haddie Rae, Deri Pryor, Tina Andry, Kate Hadfield, Sheisty Khrist, Eric Sutherland, Adam Ross, Jay McCoy, and Elizabeth Beck.

Down the Rabbit Hole travels through three doors guarded by the Caterpillar, each door revealing a different fate for Alice. The White Rabbit acts as Alice's goodwill guide as the deceitful Cheshire Cat tries again and again to pull Alice away from her happiness. You will meet all of your favorite Wonderland characters including the Mad Hatter, March Hare and Dormouse as you fall down the rabbit hole with Alice and are swept into a Wonderland where dancing roses, card soldiers, tea parties, and masquerade balls are all just part of another day.

Movement Continuum's fourth season cast is Mina Adams, Alexa Brandon, Ashley Davis, Megan Doll, Mara Farris, Kate Hadfield, Anna Gibson Hawkins, Emily Lake, Ashley Roberts, Karsyn Rohach, Mary Kate Slone, Cara Terry and Brooke Thomas.
