ROOTS: A 5Rhythms Movement Workshop with Amber Ryan
In this journey through the 5Rhythms, we will quiet down the chatter of the mind in order to tune in to the landscape of our body, giving this awesome vehicle a chance to speak through movement and creating the space for messages of deep body wisdom to reveal. In this time together, we will dwell in this inquiry:
How does it feel to be rooted on the earth, present through our feet, yet also free navigate in any direction our instinct and spirit wants to carry us?
Join us for these two days of exploring roots and wings connecting heaven and earth in our own body and soul.
The 5Rhythms are a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. This map toward greater personal freedom brings out each individual's creative potential as well as being a catalyst for deep healing in the body, mind, and soul. The 5Rhythms created by Gabrielle Roth are Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Still. When it all falls away, when masks have been shed, quakes of emotions have subsided, and the to do list has been set aside, we arrive into a quieter rhythm.
This weekend will be a progressive one, one session of teachings building upon the next. You are encouraged to attend all sessions and free to join where you are called.
