While you are sitting and eating and drinking*, you'll be entertained by four of the most dynamic and rising standup talents on the west coast, and their host and yours, John Mink.
ERIC ALEXANDER MOORE Blending real-life stories with his knack for punchy, outside-the-box writing and honest, vulnerable delivery, Salem, Oregon-based comedian Eric Alexander Moore has been transforming personal tragedy into comedy for audiences all across the west coast, performing at the world famous Comedy Store in Hollywood, California, Helium Comedy Club in Portland, Oregon and the 2014 Improlympia Comedy Festival in Olympia, Washington and appearing with national headliners such as Andy Andrist (Comedy Central's "The Man Show," "The Unbookables") and more. Eric Alexander Moore produces a bi-monthly comedy show at Level B Theater in Salem, Oregon. www.ericalexandermoore.com
JESSE PRIEST When it comes to comedy, no one is unique as Jesse Priest. Hosting a weekly show for over 3 years has given Jesse a lightning fast wit, despite his slow, deliberate delivery. Whether it's making fun of his mixed race parents or waxing poetic on the finer points of text messaging, Jesse Priest is sure to have you rolling in the aisles.
GEOFF PARKS Geoffry Ambrose Parks Junior was born and raised in Salem Oregon, which is one reason he moved to Portland in 2003. Urged by his good friend and creator of the Salem comedy scene, Jesse Priest, he decided to pursue comedy. He cut his teeth in the Portland comedy scene, especially at the Suki's open Mic. After three years of street learning(performing as well as watching comics) in Portland, he absorbed advice from such greats as Seth Milstein, Ron Funches, Ian Karmel, and Richard Bain, before moving back to Salem and seeing that scene grow to its rich current status.
CHAD JOHNSON Chad Johnson has taken every chance he's had to get in front of a microphone since he was welcomed into Salem comedy, November 2013. From weekly open mics to performing on showcases at Capitol City Theater and Vagabond Brewing, Chad tackles the perils of being a young, unequipped father while using his time on stage as a therapeutic setting to talk about the gray areas of life.
Hosted by: JOHN MINK Offending crowds became hobby, with a pungent tone of freewill to promote the underdog's scorecard. His raw-dog antics have been seen all over the Northwest, performing his own style of "Guerrilla Comedy;" surprise shows. Plugging in a small amp, in random bar or tavern, only to be thrown out by his teeth with threats of trespassing. Mink was a semi-finalist at Oregon's Last Comic Standing and was the host of Salem Idol 2014. Capitol City Theater regular. Hosted a weekly comedy show for 6 months in Salem's Oldest Bar, Noble's Tavern. He frequently hosts shows with names such as Andy Andrist (Man Show), Bobcat Goldthwait (Police Academy, God Bless America), Todd Armstrong (Permanent Comedy). Mink's favorite shows are in small dark alleyway bars where the underbelly of America can be found, in hopes of starting the revolution. www.johnmink.net
