Arabic Cooking and Baking Series: Mansaf: the Communal Dish of Jordan

In this series, participants will be invited on a hands-on culinary journey through the Arab world, discovering the history, culture, and science behind some of the Arab world's most essential dishes and seizing the opportunity to produce them with your own hands. In the final stop in our tour of Levantine cuisine, participants will learn to make mansaf, the famous national dish of Jordan. A savory dish of rice and lamb cooked in a creamy, dried yogurt sauce, mansaf is a communal meal over which families and communities gather and feast.
