The Weirdo Show is winding down a whirlwind summer with a show this month that will blow you away! Each month presenting some of the top variety talent in DC for your amusement and amazement, the Weirdo Show prides itself in bringing quality entertainment and this show will be no different! Lets meet the acts!
Old timey belly dance and whiskey drinking are what inspired Ami Martin Wilber for the choreography created for the Weirdo Show. Ami teaches at Sahara dance and is the co director of the ooh la la belly dance revue. Bringing grace and seduction to an ancient art, the acts she will perform will remind you of what true beauty is!
Hailing from Baltimore, MD, Whiskey Joy can often be found taking a little nip and doing a little strip. After studying under the legendary Paco Fish, Whiskey has warmed guts and hearts performing and kittening from Baltimore to Virginia, including with Twisted Knickers, Compound Productions 50/50, Hot Night Productions, House of Sweetbottom Blues & Burlesque Revue, and the upcoming Bawdy Shop Burlesque debut. Straight up or on the rocks, this Charm City chick will burn all the way down and warm you all the way up!
Ever since a momentary clinical death suffered in early childhood, morbid fascinations have led Shaggy to explore the darker side of human nature. Always willing to take his body to new limits, Shaggy Wilcox never stands down in the face of a challenge.
Joining the Weirdo Show is comic magician Vic Brisbin, a relative newcomer to DC, but a veteran of the stage. He appeared at the Red Palace, and hails from the West where he is a performing member of Hollywood's famed Magic Castle. Ripley's Believe it or Not! had this to say, "Vic, you must have an encyclopedia of weird stored in your brain. Quite impressive!"
Trenda Mi Wild returns to the Weirdo Show stage for a brief respite from traveling and performing around the world for an evening of entertainment. The audience will get to see what she has learned over the last year and will be truly amazed at what is brought to the stage!
This month, our guest host is none other that Todd Gardner, better known and beloved as Hot Todd Lincoln! Producer of Hot Night Productions and emcee extraordinaire, Todd brings the laughs and keeps them coming. Known for his sense of grace and terrible puns, he will keep the show rolling. Rolling on the floor!
