Home Dairy 101
Blessed are the cheesemakers! This class opens up the rewarding and delicious world of transforming and preserving milk and cream in your own kitchen and making your own butter, yogurt, and cheese. You'll learn about the history of dairy cultures, equipment and ingredients, and various tricks and troubleshooting tips to ensure your home dairy success. In the second half of the class, you will get hands-on practice making whipped butter, yogurt, and two beginner's cheeses ricotta and queso fresco. The class fee covers the materials and a sample jar of yogurt for you to take home.
