Fulfillment Entertainment presents, "The Lounge"
Back by popular demand, Fulfillment Entertainment's "The Lounge" is adding a touch of class and sass to local theatre. The authentic stage play, directed by Steubenville's own Davina Ware, will be presenting its encore performance at the Masonic Temple located at 227 N. 4th St in Steubenville, OH. on Saturday July 26th at 7PM. The Masonic Temple has a rich history which can be traced back to 1931 in Historic Steubenville.
The premise of "The Lounge" is that of five dynamic women, co-workers who become familiar after being moved to the same shift at their job. The women form a bond once they share tales of domestic violence, tests of faith, motherhood, and more. "Each woman's story is relatable," says Juanita Simmons, play author. "There are twists you won't see coming."
Each character's story is endearing and takes an accurate pulse of our contemporary environment. Cast members, who have theatrical experience in other Columbus-area plays, personally identify with some element of their respective roles. As a result the characters much like the cast members who play them grow to become a family. While enduring personal trials and achieving personal triumphs with grace and humor, the characters reveal how their faith helps them relate to one another. "I was blown away by how much each story touched me," says attendee Tyiesha Radford. "This play was truly a ministry."
