"Get Back into Your Wedding Dress" is a fun, end-of-summer prom to raise funds for Community Meals in St. Helens. Enjoy a decadent dessert buffet created by some of Columbia County's most talented chefs and bakers. There will be a no-host bar, and dancing to your favorite 80's hits courtesy of DJ Ray Bartley and Music Unlimited. No wedding dress? No worries! Put on your favorite frock (or that dreaded bridesmaid's dress in the back of your closet!) and have some fun while supporting this amazing organization comprised entirely of volunteers. Early bird tickets (through Sept 8th) will be $22 per person or $40 per couple. After Sept 8th, prices will be $25 per person or $45 per couple.
Community Meals is a member agency of the Columbia Pacific Food Bank and operates as a benevolent kitchen. It is the only program of its kind in Columbia County. Their goal is to increase food assistance to our neighbors, especially to those facing tight budgets, job loss, housing loss, frailness or loneliness and to anyone who wants to be part of our community. Dinners are served free every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-6 pm at the First Lutheran Parish Hall on the corner of 4th & Wyeth Streets, in St. Helens, Oregon.
