GLIMPSE... an evening of 3 original plays
www.constructedtheatrecollaborative.com
GLIMPSE... invites the audience to peek behind closed doors and into the visual and physiological worlds of three distinct individuals struggling with what it means to exist within societal norms.
GGLIMPSE... is an innovative theatrical event designed to showcase three original works by local theatre artists Monica Dionysiou, A. Forrest Barclay, and Elizabeth Horab.
Each artist is tasked with creating a new performative piece that contains four correlating "ingredients". The four ingredients for this production are: Water, Boundaries, the 5 Senses, and the textual element "I haven't thought about it in awhile".
In response, these artists have created a unique and striking production built from strong individual pieces.
Monica Dionysou has created A WOMAN FORGETS. a theatrical glimpse into the power of remembering
A. Forrest Barclay has created EVE. a solo performance connecting with the misunderstood mother of the church
Elizabeth Horab has created RUMINATION. a movement-theatre piece about being stuck
Glimpse opens Friday, April 18th, at 7:30pm; running April 19th, 24th 27th. **April 24, BOGO Evening- buy one ticket, get one free
