CONYERS, GA His Word N Motion Dance and Drama, the official touring performers of Bobbie's School of Performing Arts Ministry (BSPAM), is pleased to stage an acclaimed dramatic musical production, This Man Called Jesus, playing April 26, 2014 on stage at the Rockdale County Civic Auditorium in Conyers, GA. Based on biblical eye-witnesses testifying of their encounters, this dramatic musical tells the story of Jesus' power to heal, restore, resurrect and his sacrificial love for mankind. This uplifting experience will thrill audiences with spectacular choreography by renowned director and instructor BOBBIE A. ETHRIDGE, electrifying vocals by one of Atlanta's most acclaimed gospel choirs, DAVID WALKER AND HIGH PRAISE with music and band director BILLY BARLOW. The worship rap group, LIVELY STONES, that started on the campus of Augusta State University will also grace the stage with their hit "MORE". Also gracing the stage will be Atlanta's own mime extraordinaire, Wayne Reynolds as UNSPEAKABLE ANOINTIN' Mime Ministry.
"I've never been as moved or as utterly happy in a theatre, as when I'm in an audience of outstanding Christian youth and adult dancers and heartfelt actors, bringing this special story to life. It's my favorite piece of theatre," says BSPAM parent, Kizzie Robinson. "This production has not been staged in four years. In 2010 all of our ministry props, garments that our dancers and parents had sewn, scripts, and studio space were destroyed because I made a decision to leave a marriage that was rippled with domestic violence. I love the way the story combine the sacred experience and biblical text in this timeless story of forgiveness, compassion and renewal, which is what God gave me during this four year transition," says director, Bobbie A. Ethridge. "It is the most meaningful experience of my performing arts career."
The cast of THIS MAN CALLED JESUS features BRIAN ROSS as "Jesus" (Clayton Counties Assistant District Attorney), and DETHRA GILES as "Mary Mother of Jesus." BRENDA L. JACKSON-BROWN as "Heavenly Angel", and JEFFERY C. TRIMBLE as "Simon." TIMOTHY WILLIAMS II will play "Pontius Pilate", with FRANK GILES AND JOHN STEVE II as "Roman Soldiers", ANDREAL COOPER as "Mary Sister of Lazarus", CHARLYNNE MIDDLEBROOKS as "Martha Sister of Lazarus", CAMERON COOPER as "Lazarus", YOLANDA MOORE as "Mary Magdelene", TRACY PATTERSON as "Lydia", NAOMI SEELY as "Mary Mother of James", and QUENTETA STEVE as "Sarah."
Principal Praise Dance Choreographer, BOBBIE A. ETHRIDGE (Genita Pugh's "Can't Live") is joined by youth dancers ZION ETHRIDGE, ZARIYA ETHRIDGE, JORDAN STEVE, JOHN STEVE, AMBER GREEN, CAMERON GREEN, KIEARA MOORE, MORGAN ROBINSON, SARAYA HUNTER, JAIRAH GILES AND DEJA CONWAY. Also Adult dancers ELEANOR ROSS, DETHRA GILES, NAOMI SEELEY, CHARLYNNE MIDDLEBROOKS, YOLANDA MOORE, CAPRENA LAWSON-GREEN, TRACY PATTERSON, AND ANDREAL COOPER.

Youth and Adults are given the opportunity to learn drama and dance technique for little to no cost.
