Let Your Freak Flag FLY!

We are proud to announce the first RMS Cabaret! We are calling it Let Your Freak Flag Fly. Why? Because this will not be your typical cabaret.

This is a night for fun, community and fun. If you have a 5-7 minuteish act and would like to perform it, nows your chance. We will gather on the night of 10/28 (Sat.) in the RMS black box in a relaxed casual cafe style set up and you can perform for your friends, fellow students and teachers and whoever else shows up.

Were not looking for your prime thing you do. We want to see that other thing you do that not many people know about or have seen. So, no scenes or monologues. RMS is an acting studio. We know you do that. So, if you have something youd like to share with your fellow RMS artists, lets see it!! Sock puppets? Slam poetry? Juggling? Yes please! We'll be delighted to see your inner sad clown, the cool tricks your doggie can do, the way you can eat a whole large pizza in under 2 minutes, hear you sing an appalachian murder ballad, or watch your epic Flamenco dancing skills. If it's the slightest bit freaky in any way, we want to see it.

If you are only interested in attending, then great! Itll be $5 for entry (proceeds benefit the Robert Mello Studio and cover event costs) and BYOB and food to enjoy and share. Your friends and family can buy tickets on our Brown Paper Tickets Event page. After the show is over well hang out and talk and jam.
