4th Annual Let Your Light Shine for Children in Crisis
There is a special place that gives a home to the abused, neglected and abandoned children of our community, its Children in Crisis. The CIC Neighborhood has an emergency shelter to provide a safe haven for young children removed from an unsafe environment on short notice and family foster homes to help with the severe shortage of foster homes in our community. Our Teen Transition Home helps to prevent high school students aging out of the foster care program from becoming homeless. Our priority is to keep brother/sister sibling families together. Children in Crisis provides a home to the children of Okaloosa, Walton, Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. Thank you for being such a vital partner in our success in giving a home for 88,598 days and nights to over 730 at-risk foster children in our area. Please consider joining us for the 4 th Annual Let Your Light Shine for Children in Crisis, October 12 th at the Sanders Beach-Corrine Jones Community Center in Pensacola from 6-8:30 p.m.. The event will include a silent & live auction, music, dancing, wine, beer and heavy hor doeuvres. We are in need of your help and partnership in the form of a sponsorship or item for our silent auction. If you would like to attend the event, tickets are $45 per person or $240 per table. Thank you in advance for taking time to review this letter and help CIC with our mission to provide a home, food and clothing to our children.
