Laced with a healthy balance of drama and comedy "Deliver Me" is a dynamic presentation of two young women and their struggles with sexual abuse and domestic violence in their lives. Carlene cries out to God as she is tormented with whether or not to give up on her marriage. Charles on the other hand, can be a good husband, but is caught in his own struggle with alcohol, anger, and infidelity. At the same time, Michelle is plagued with the distressing reality that Brian, her fathers best friend, has been repeatedly stripping her of her innocence. Her father, Officer John, meanwhile continues to trust Michelle with Brian and is entirely unaware of her dark secret.
