Sacred Kink Workshop: Rhythm for Connection
Why Rhythm?
Rhythm is such a basic force in play... the steady striking of a cane, the trance that a flogger can create. The tap, tap, crack of a single tail. A heartbeat. Breathing, in, out, in. We use it more than we realize.
A great scene can be like an intricate dance. When both partners are dancing to the same song (literally or figuratively), magic can happen! We can harness some of this potential by bringing awareness to our rhythm.
Rhythm can also get us out of sync. A lack of rhythm can be used by sadists to irritate their masochists! A sudden stop to music or a change in tempo can impact the flow of a scene. We'll touch on these things, too.
