Earthcare 2017: Main Festival Day
The Hilltown Chautauqua presents the Second Annual Earthcare Festival with keynote speaker Frances Moore Lappe, author of "Diet for a Small Planet," and a full slate of speakers, readers, musicians, panels, and films, exploring the theme of "Food, Farms, and the Future." Venue: The beautiful, historic William Cullen Bryant Homestead, Cummington, MA.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 16 / SCHEDULE (subject to change):

9-11 am, POETRY: A TRIBUTE TO RICHARD WILBUR, hosted by Patty Kimura
    9-9:40: Five Hilltown poets read new poetry on farms, farming, and a sense of plenty.
    9:55-10:20: Segment of a documentary-in-progress on Richard Wilbur, by Ralph Hannemann.
  10:30-11:00: Robert and Mary Bagg on their new biography, Let Us Watch Richard Wilbur (UMAss Press).
