Foraging Day Trip: Snoqualmie Pass
Join me for this fantastic opportunity to learn herbalism and plant ID in the Cascades. And bring home medicine!
During this hands-on field trip you will learn how to correctly identify the major medicinal plants of the subalpine zone. Everyone will have time to forage, and will bring home several different species of medicinal plants. You'll also receive instruction about the exact uses and preparation of the plants we learn about. The day will involve some hiking and some bushwhacking, so be ready for that.
Meet: In the Alpental parking lot (at Snoqualmie Pass) at the Snow Lake trailhead.
Carpooling: I will have four spaces in my car for those who don't have cars. I can pick people up at the Mercer Island Park and Ride. Please contact me at the school's email to reserve a spot in my car.
Max class size: 10
Kids and Pets: Unfortunately I can't accommodate for kids or pets in this learning environment. Kids over 13 are welcome.
Date and Time: July 22, 2017 10am-4pm (We'll meet at the Trailhead at 10AM)
Cost: $60
More information, such as what to bring, will be sent to ticketholders a few days before the event.
