You're a Good Man Charlie Brown
No Drama Theater is proud to present our summer MainStage show, "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised)". Performances will be Friday, July 28 at 7:30 pm, Saturday July 29 at 2:00 and 7:30 pm and will be held at the New Providence Recreation Center, 360 Elkwood Avenue, New Providence, NJ (entrance is on Academy Dr).
To celebrate our inaugural event we will be offering free ice pops and balloons to audience members outside the theater at the end of each show. To a lucky ticket holder at each performance we will also be giving away Peanuts merchandise, such as a large Snoopy (Friday), a production t-shirt (Saturday Matinee) and Peanuts character figurines (Saturday Evening). Come see the show to find out if you are the lucky winner. There may also be other give-aways during or at the end of each performance. T-shirts, figurines and other memorabilia will also be offered for sale at each performance. A donation box for the NP Public Art sculpture installation will also be available.
The cast for this show are a talented group of area high school and elementary school students who have formed their own ensemble repertory company, Theater Squad Players. Their time, talents and skills are now brought to the stage to offer a fresh take on this endearing family musical. Other community high schoolers and recent NPHS Class of 2017 grads are also donating their talents behind the scenes to choreograph, run sound and lights, music direct and more!
This show is offered as a fundraiser and a dedication to NP Public Art founder, Marjan Saniee who passed away this spring after a long battle with cancer. All proceeds from this production will be donated to NP Public Art to fund a sculpture installation.
