Teresa Monaghen, expert in Marian spirituality, brings us The Joyful Mystery of Mary. Join us as we follow Mary from the Cross all the way to heaven!

Well also be unveiling a new traveling exhibit titled Mary: The Appeals of Our Lady and it will be available for viewing at the event. Knights of Columbus Council 1159 will host a complimentary ice cream social after the talk.

Teresa Monaghen, AO, is a local Moderator and General Counselor for the Pontifical Secular Institute of the Apostolic Oblates and assists in programs held at their Pro Sanctity Retreat Center for Adults and Camp for Girls in Elkhorn, Nebraska.

She is a happily, perpetually, joyfully vowed member since 1989.

More About Teresa Monaghen, AO
Teresa has a BA in Liberal Studies from Cal State Fullerton and did her thesis on Faith Development for Children. She studied in Rome, Italy for her STB in Theology and then went on to Creighton University in Omaha for her MA in Christian Spirituality. She is in the last stages working on degree in Mariology (study of Mary) and the Saints at the Pontifical Marian Institute in Dayton, Ohio. She currently teaches short courses on Marian Spirituality for Creightons Summer Masters Program in Omaha.

Teresa has worked for 21 years as a spiritual director of seminarians and supervisor for spiritual directors for the summer program of the Institute for Priestly Formation located on the campus of Creighton University, Omaha, NE. She is on their Curriculum and Mission Board. Teresa has 36 years of experience giving retreats, conferences, parish missions and spiritual direction to people of all ages and backgrounds, to consecrated, laity and priests. Teresa offers programs with Catholic Radio, SPIRIT CATHOLIC RADIO 102.7 out of Omaha, NE, since 2005
