CAPTURE the CANVAS brings together artists from the Hudson Valley with collectors and donors to support the Maya Gold Foundation. The CAPTURE the CANVAS fundraiser is a unique way to support the work of the Maya Gold Foundation. The proceeds provide essential funding for teen programs in the Hudson Valley and in Nepal.
WHY:
The mission of the Maya Gold Foundation is to empower youth to access their inner wisdom and realize their dreams. In our first year of operation, we have funded programs affecting young people near and far. Our work continues to expand, and CAPTURE the CANVAS is a new fundraising effort. All donations will go towards programs for young people in the Hudson Valley and in Nepal.
WHAT:
There is no other fundraiser quite like this one! The event revolves around a raffle for artwork provided by Hudson Valley artists. One hundred pieces of art will be available for raffle. Enough artwork is on hand so that the holder of each raffle ticket is guaranteed to leave with one piece. Enjoy wine, live music presented by local teens, and appetizers, all while you mingle and explore the artwork. Tickets are drawn at random during the evening, with the raffle holder selecting their choice of artwork (i.e., as tickets are drawn, artwork is selected by guests). The result is a fun way to place artwork into homes, connect with the Hudson Valley art community, and support the Maya Gold Foundation.
WHEN:
Saturday, September 16, 2017. The gallery opens for wine and appetizers at 7:00 PM. Tickets will be drawn beginning at 8:00 PM.

TICKETS:
Your donation of $100 will provide you with one ticket. Each ticket holder will receive one piece of artwork. Couples may receive a special package rate of $150 for two entries and one piece of art.
