Pig and Swig!
Join us for another popular LocalTaste event at Lander's Middle Fork Restaurant, Saturday, April 8th, 6pm.
LocalFest once again has partnered with Chef Jenna Ackerman for a LocalTaste of Pork!
This year you'll meet local pork producers Sonja Becker of Becker Family Stock Farm and Tim and Bobbie Thornburg of Gold Standard Farm & Ranch.
Hudson Hill of University of Wyoming AG Extension will kick things off with a talk on small scale farming and buying local in Wyoming.
Come enjoy a lavish assortment of delicious hors d'oeuvres - artfully crafted at The Middle Fork Restaurant. Cash beer and wine bar available.

Becker Family Stock Farm:
We are a working homestead style permaculture farm,
practicing organic methods for over 30 years.
Our Mission: To provide better than "organic" food to our local community, at a sustainable price, and to educate along the way.
Our Philosophy: We believe that through "organic" farming and conscientious planning we can conserve our natural resources, build living soil, minimize water, air and soil pollution, create bio-diverse and healthy ecosystems, feed people and build a stronger community.
Sonja Becker is the vision and driving force behind the farm, supplying the local food marketplace in Thermopolis.
Gold Standard Farm & Ranch:
Our Goal: to provide high quality grass-fed beef, heritage pork, eggs and fresh milk straight from our farm to your table.
Tim and Bobbie are perhaps best known for their delicious fresh milk and dairy products, but are equally proud of their Heritage Breed Berkshire hogs.
Hudson Hill:
Hudson is a favorite among the small AG Educators. Respected for his first hand knowledge of a mixed use operation and his no-nonsense approach to the subject of Local food and regulations, Hudson never fails to bring the subject to life for his audience.
Middle Fork Restaurant Owner/Chef Jenna Ackerman:
Jenna has been our go to host for these LocalTaste Events over the past 4 years. Jenna never fails to dazzle with her creative and delicious offerings. It is always a thrill to see what she conjures from local ingredients.
