The energetics of Spring Equinox is about celebrating the return of life. Our focus shifts from internal to external, from preparation to action. This is a time of renewal and rebirth Take a look around you and notice this new life bursting.
Sacred Cacao, totally in tune with the energies of the Spring Equinox, will support both Balance and Bliss in your body. Cacao, one of the healthiest foods on the planet, contains the mood improver, anandamide known as the bliss molecule, which creates a feeling of euphoria (and so much more).
During our Ceremony, supported by the amazing power of the Cacao medicine, we will gather to honor the Earth and all the elements. We invite you to bring seeds or flowers as a symbol of spring and what you are birthing for yourself in your life. We will do a guided Soul Journey to bring your dreams into existence.

Cacao (chocolate in its purest form) is a plant medicine that has been used by the Mayans for centuries both by the Shamans and people in their everyday lives. An Indigenous Mayan myth tells us that whenever the balance between humans and nature becomes threatened, Cacao comes out from the rainforest to open peoples hearts and return the planet to a state of harmony.
The cacao we use comes from wild Criollo trees and has a high vibration and a spiritual potency that you can experience with each cup. Cacao is a superfood with nutritional and medicinal value, and over 300 nutrients. One of its main active ingredients is Theobromine, which literally translates as God-Food, and facilitates the release of dopamine, the pleasure hormone. Cacao supports memory, immunity, heart health and helps relieve stress and depression. It contains the highest concentration of antioxidants of any food on the planet.
Each ceremony is held in Oneness Consciousness and is offered with Gratitude for the Medicine. We tune in before each event and listen to what wants to come forth. It may include meditation, chanting, guided soul journey, movement, sharing circle and more. FACILITATORS
Christel Libiot is a master at holding space and celebrating each person in their truth. She combines the various modalities she has been steeped in over the past 20 years to support, with her smile and open heart, people individually and in group, in womens circles, workshops and ceremonies. She is a Certified Modern Wisdom Practitioner/Modern Day Priestess initiated through the Institute of Modern Wisdom, a Reiki Master, a Certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and a Certified Life Coach and uses these modalities along with Breath work, Soul Remembering and Affirmative Prayer to facilitate breakthroughs for her clients. Additionally, since 2005, Christel has been a leader of the Woman Within Weekend, an empowerment workshop for women, and has been leading over 80 such trainings in the US and Europe. She has designed and led wellness workshops, retreats, classes and sacred alchemy circles in the mid-Atlantic area. With her husband Jim Wert she is now co-leading Cacao Ceremonies, The Heart Opening Experience. Her path is that of Service to Love Absolute.
Jim Wert has been initiated as a Modern Day Alchemist by the Institute of Modern Wisdom, (a mystery school dedicated to furthering ancient wisdom ways and modern spiritual technologies). In 1998, Jim was initiated into a life of integrity, authenticity, and service to others through the ManKind Project. He was a leader in developing a multicultural awareness program for MKP and led trainings under the program at various in MKP centers in the US and Europe for a number of years. For over a decade, Jim also facilitated monthly multicultural conversation circles. He is a Registered Polarity Therapist and completed a 1-year program in visionary cranial sacral therapy. In the early 1970s, Jim received a powerful activation from Kriyananda at Ananda Village near Nevada City, CA, that led him into further study and practice over the years with a number of teachers, including the Self-Realization Fellowship, Swami Rama and the Himalayan Institute, Yogi Bhajan and the 3HO organization, Rosalyn Bruyere and the Healing Light Center Church, among others. He retired from a 31-year legal career in 2011 as senior counsel in the Legislative Counsel's Office of the US House of Representatives. Together with his spouse, Christel Libiot, he has been sharing cacao and leading cacao ceremonies almost since the time they were first introduced to this Food for the Shift in 2012.
